Young investors often lack comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds, which undermines their ability to make informed investment decisions. The primary challenge lies in crafting a digital platform capable of effectively communicating the advantages of mutual funds, while also providing educational resources on investment strategies and risk management, thereby fostering confidence in their investment endeavour's.
The endeavour is fraught with several hurdles, including tackling financial illiteracy, addressing issues related to trust and risk perception, ensuring ease of use and engagement, and motivating users to actively participate in the investment process.
As the lead in User Experience & Design, my responsibilities encompassed streamlining the user onboarding process to make it more intuitive, simplifying the loan application procedure, incorporating visual progress indicators for clarity, providing transparent loan information, ensuring a responsive and mobile-friendly design, minimising documentation requirements, and implementing real-time application status updates.
Outcome
At CLIX Capital, the focus was on developing a user-friendly digital platform to streamline the loan application process for small and medium-sized enterprises. Simplified onboarding, intuitive visual progress indicators, and transparent loan information were incorporated to enhance usability. Real-time application status updates and a responsive design were also implemented to minimise documentation requirements. The storytelling nature of the visuals received positive feedback, highlighting their potential to boost user engagement and facilitate easier access to loans.
